I guess what I'm asking was the XInput device wireless? I am specifically experiencing an issue with a wireless XInput device and a DirectInput both being recognized by the game as first player. I just had one x-input stick (not sure if xbone or 360) and one direct input stick and we played just fine. I have heard that you can connect two wireless Xbox 360 controllers plus an old Madcatz fightstick which should work although I have not tested this yet. Both controllers are recognized by Steam but not individually recognized by MvC: Infinite. Have you tried direct input vs wireless? Also can you confirm this works with xbox 360 controllers? So far I have tried old PS3 Madcatz TE fightsticks vs Xbox 360 wireless controllers and was unsuccessful.
